Deano- Thanks buddy! Can't complain... Prizm artist shop is exactly 5 miles from here. LOL Boys will be gone camping for the weekend with Boys Scout... let's say prayers that my wife lets me play with my duck.

Hey DP, I'm using Tamy Fine Surface Primer #87064. I think it works really well. Be careful about playing with your Duck. This is a family type site

I have to agree, always watch what you play with and as an old cop once advised never bring home anything you did not leave with.

I guess I'm gonna have to come up there and let you borrow my airbrush. Paint! We need paint! That Tamiya rattle can primer is what I use all the time.

Andy, that's the one, only I use the light grey. Don't see why the white won't work just as well. For me it works really well. goes on smooth, doesn't build up too much, sticks like he%%, and sands like a dream.

I must say you this mate: next time, be more gentle to your Airbrush glad you have the replacement part! About that rattlecan...used it once, it's ok, but not really a fan of rattle cans...it's probably me, but it's kinda messy lol Cheers

LOL! Thanks Wouter... either way its messy. Cleaning the AB after primer job or using rattle can. Gonna try both ways to see which is easier. My wife often remind me to be gentle too.

Good to read you got the AB issue sorted Andy. I have 4 AB's so there is always a back up. My Badger Krome only gets used for the fine AB work. My work horse that gets used the most is an old Revell Profi that I have had for 13 years....and still rocks.

That's something I want to look into getting second good AB. I have been leaning toward Grex because I like how it handles with the grip for long tense jobs. Remember I am not that rich like you so maybe for Christmas or a mystery uncle who has passed away leaving me lots of money. LOL I am just glad I bought Iwata because three different stores stock them especially the artist store just like the picture I posted recently. I do have a back up AB... but its cheap one... from Harbor Freight I bought for $25. I can use it only for primer or base coats but not for color modulation or good job because it likes to spit paint out when I am stop spraying. I sense a color modulation job coming up... maybe tonight?

One is a cheap one that came with the comp. that has a nice fine tip, but a pia to clean..lol

OK here it is... I haven't used the lightest paint yet. Planning for dry brushing at end... I am not too sure about the light base on area just above the wheels. Too light? I might tone it down... More painting tomorrow... thanks guys!
