Bones- Thanks! Little more painting before I can move on to weathering stage. John- Waited for you... it was getting late I had to start without you. More to come... Tanker- LOL Lobster? That's crawfish! Just save me some when I come to Maine in 2014. Bigjohn- This explains how my basement was flooded this morning... thanks buddy! Luigi- Better not OD on OD you two! Deano- It was fun... haven't painted OD for couple of years. Nice change... needed a break from Panzer Grey and Dunkelgalb. Gary- About the damn time you are posting here! LOLOLOL Thanks bro! Mr T- LOL! I even vacuumed my bench and paint booth yesterday before I sprayed OD... thanks to the mess left by Mr Surfacer. Off to cut the grass then I am FREE for rest of day... have a plan to make duck look better. Stay posted my friends!

Lobsters and crabs and Dukws! Oh my! Couldn't resist... As for the wheel wells, they do look a bit out of place to me Andy in relation to the rest maybe add some darker overtones to them to blend them in a bit more before the weathering? After all, those are the areas that you would expect to get a lot of exposure to dirt, mud, water, etc.

Another update... more painting. Touching up and a lot of highlighting. Used masking tape and biz card for highlighting.... shades just under the seams. Then highlighting... Result... Hull's done... Fun part is next... stowage and interior painting is next!

Andy, been following this Duck here and on fb. Love the painting and the shade of green....perfect bud. Rob- Thanks boss! Don't we all love FB?!? I meant to ask you earlier. Noticed that AK paint doesn't do well with LifeColor thinner or Testor/MM acrylic thinner. I have to stir often or it will be spitting spots. Do I really have to buy AK thinner if it is the only one that works well with AK paint? Bill- Thanks! Game was great... but Colts lost. It was very close game until last minute when the pass was intercepted at touchdown zone ending the game. Seat was OK but it has stunning view of the city across the field. At least my ticket was free... LOL
