Bill- Light brown as base coat then covered with pigment. Unless we are talking about gold potatoes from Idaho... the best! Dave- Yep, my P.O. was with me the whole time. He's one cool dude, huh? LOL Thanks buddy... more to come! Gary- LOL! Thanks bro! T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U! When I saw your name, an idea came up... a bicycle to be added to stowage and it will be red! That will be eye catchy. Just like your StuG build. Your kiltutu power is ferkin' powerful! Owe you one... wait a min I sent you some mags already. LOL Bones- LOL! Is it against some regulations? LOL I recently ordered a bicycle set from Tamiya along PE set from China this morning. Gary's fault... but bottles would be good option if I want to add more. Carl- OH MY! You cracked me up enough that it caught my boss attention. LOLOLOL Great pictures! Karma for you...

Gary- LOL Glad you are still reading those mags.
Kenny- Oops! I must have misunderstood... they told me to keep this going to keep your heart beating. That's why I can not stop! LOL Doing my best...
Tanker- I wondered the same...
Joe- Thanks buddy! Once I get past the stowage painting stage it will be a breeze... going down to do more painting for couple of hours with my new pair of progressive bifocal glasses and I am hating it.

Carl- You are the potato expert? God I don't think I can handle the pressure... where's the booze when I really need it? I never forget how beautiful it was when I drove thru Idaho from Spokane to Missoula for a national conference back in 2007. Worked on the stowage again... it is taking much of time... highlighting and more detail painting. Still a long way to go... I really like them... stowage sets from Value Gear Details. Paint on potatoes was still wet... they are from Idaho I hope. Pigments would make it look better.

Tobi- LOL! My parents have been to Oktoberfest and they loved it... I have to go one day. Read news recently that German officials are enforcing new rule to ensure that beer servers are filling up the glasses properly all the way to the top. That's true Andy! Employees from the city of Munich do have their eyes peeled, not only on the guest's behavior. This is not new, anyway. Every year the same. The more the blood alcohol level has risen, the more beer is missing in the glass to make the litre complete. At one point they wouldn't even bother trying to cover it up with froth. It's good tradition that you can claim a proper "Mass" when it's served to you, no longer when you already drank from it, of course! Some years ago a club was founded in Munich calling itself "Society against fraudulent pouring". They have a look as well and they always make it public if finding something wrong! That means bad news in the local news. You see, there is no kiddin' with us when it comes to beer, though I honestly have to say, I try to stay away from the Oktoberfest. There are other, smaller and more "gemütliche" occasions. For visitors from around the world it's the event, naturally, one you will always remember. Cheers, Tobi

I know what you mean Tobi, always better when mom cooks. I took over the Sauerkraut cooking a few years ago because the gent who made it for Oktoberfest every year is now 90 years old. Also I hear you on not going to Munich for Oktoberfest, we always went to the local fest in town. Carl I only make about 70lbs every five weeks.
Andy, I won't be there bro, I will be at the show this weekend. Well at least until Sat evening the Sunday I will work the kitchen so no fun for me.
Back to our regular program..................
