Andy, did ya suit up in your WWII gear and have the fella do a Omaha beach simulation landing? That woulda been a blast! Have the ramp drop and charge the beach.....have your wife n kids throw rocks at ya to simulate enemy fire. GAWD that sound fun!  |

Gary- I WISH! I regret not ask the crew if I could ride in it. Doubt it... it belonged to the island and they use to haul in supplies and trash back around the island. Too cool!

Boss- Oh yes its about 90-95% done... I am taking my time until Dicky builds something with wings. I made him build a ship and it worked so now it will be wingy thang next... just watch! Spud- Only 31 pages?!?!? DAMN! I better slow down... thanks for the friendly reminder my friend! Guys- Nothing exciting... found the way back to my bench last Sunday and started painting the figures. FOUR of them... why?!?!? But I think they should be easy and fun because there are not much personal gears on GIs and plenty flesh on those French girls...  Looks like I don't have light blue and red paint for the bikinis... off to hobby shop today after work. LOL

Deano- LOL! It was pain in arse spraying flesh on those figures. Not my favorite part of figures painting! I didn't want for them to have same color of skin you know. Sprayed heavily thinned pink on some skin for sun burn... its beach diorama for our sake. LOL Carl- Well, better Duck's than rear of our friend Dicky or Gary... bet you'd agree with me. Luigi- Loved the pic on my FB... you should have posted it here too. I will post it when I have the chance. Originally I was not planning to add rust because I was advised not to... but now I am tempted. Maybe little rust. LOL

I was going to get get caught up on this one but after reading the stats I knew there just isn't time. 31 pages? 10,721 views? I did go back far enough to find some progress pics though and liked what I found. |
