OK, The rubber band tracks in my AFV Club Stuart are made from a real soft feeling rubber.
Question 1.
What glue do I need to hold these puppies together? I tried super glue, and it didn't hold.
Question 2.
Will acrylic paints flake off of them easily and will enamel paints attack the rubber?

bigjohn, before you start to paint your rubber parts, give them a firm coat of matt primer. And even then you have to handle things with care, you don't want to see paint coming off. Stretching the tracks is risky.
Best of luck bro !

Yep the flatten the pin thing, staples, sewing thread...Since these are really soft forget the PVC glue, which works for the WWI Ehmar tracks. A good washing with soap and water and rinse the soap off. Then like Guy said, a good primer. For rubber band tracks I used to leave the idler loose and glue it with the track so as not to stretch the track while installing them.
That's I've got John. I avoid rubber band tracks and prefer indi links.

Thanks guys. I know all about the pin thing, but these pins just dont seam long enough, or strong enough.
I dont mind band tracks on US equipment.
AFV club makes a set of indy links, but all the pad faces have a sink hole that needs filled, lol
