For anybody wishing to delve into the challenging world of miniature sculpting, may I recommend a series of tutorials by the young and talented Alex of Warploque miniatures. Each video blog shares a small sculpting demo and an update regarding his forthcoming Kickstarter campaign. The miniature is a 32mm scale "travelling scholar" and here is my progress so far:

It's a good get of tutorials he has created. I'm hoping that by sharing the more interest the videos get the less time I'll have to wait between video updates!

Tiny sculpts in the vids !! They look great and they are a huge help along the way! You have a nice fig going and the interest factor is definitely there!! Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks guys! In the absence of any more tutorial updates (he's been busy with his Kickstarter, doncha know!) I have started a tribute sculpt of my own! This is a Jungle Gremlin, based on his Kickstarter warband. It stands 20mm to the eyes and is sculpted from a Green Stuff / MagicSculpt mix. Here's a WIP shot:
