Phew! At 0100 I have finally called it quits on this. It'll never win awards but I did manage it in 8 days fitting it in between work, family and just a tiny bit of sleep. Thanks guys. I haven't had a chance to take any new pics,but I will soon enough. InterestinglY I won gold ribbon for this and only a silver for my SdKfz 222 vignette.

That IS cool. How much work did you have to do to the suspension to get it to look like that? The answer is quite a bit. Mind you this was the first kit that wasn't a straight build. From memory every component of the steering and every spring mount had to be cut and re-positioned. There was quite a bit of mocking up as I tried to figure out how the suspension worked, but if I had to do it again I am sure I could manage it a lot faster |
