50 Cal M2 - Live Resin

Thought I would post a separate thread for this as the Live Resin one does not get too many visitors and I think this will be of interest to many a modern armour builder.

I took delivery yesterday of Live Resins latest 1/35 offerings in the form of the M2 .50 Cal and the 7.62mm M134 minigun. Both are latest versions and come tricked up wil rail interface systems, optics and bad ass weapon lights!.

As usual service and limeline from Yaroslav where exceptional, and the quality of the product....well I will let the pictures to the talking.

I took a run at building up the M2 first. It took about 30 minutes to cut off the blocks and clean up then another 30 minutes to assemble. I cracked the corner of the armoured shield, it was entirely my fault, as I was a little heavy handed and inpatient!

Your right Chris, LR doesn't get the press it should. I have had the stuff in my hand and this stuff has to be one of the more impressive mold jobs!! Very crisp!!! Thanks for posting these pics! The one I like the best is the first one with you finger in the background...shows the detail, delicateness and scale!!! Great stuff!!!

Well gents, well, here is the M134. considerably more 'fiddly' than the M2, and I lost a bit to the carpet monster, but easily replaced with some plastic rod. One difference with this set compared to the M2, is that the DCL401 Dot Sight and Surefire HellFighter weapon light do not come with the set, but are from their heavy weapons accessory set. The parts have had a coat of Tamiya primer.
