Hi Leon, I'm already anxious to see that thing finished! Hopefully AM manufacturers will produce interior updates soon. The Trakx ones are almost impossible to find. I'm still in need of the hull interior... BTW will you make use of the M1A1 collimator that is included in this kit? Im searching for one to include in a dio! Cheers, Tobi

Tobi thanks.I'm anxious to get this finished soon.Right now i am not happy with the results i am getting with the NATO filter on the brown and black camo. I am not going to use the collimator.PM me and will work something out if your still interested.

Hi all, just finished this try at using the NATO filter.Think i am really liking the right side test.I over worked the left side and went through to the base color. As always ACW Leon
That is the scientific way to try paint schemes very impressive.

Thanks Bones .I would rather try it this way than on my build, ultimately avoiding a disaster if something went wrong.

Hiya Leon! Im liking the right side for sure! Have you sealed your M109 with a flat/satin coat? You need to seal if you havent or you risk goin thru like it did on the left. Good luck buddy, you got this!

Dan thanks,i did the filter in thin layers and the last one on the heavy side. Gary, thanks bro.The 109 is deced and sealed with a semi gloss coat .I'm ready to start weathering.I'll weather the tracks after the hull and turret are done and sealed with a flat coat. Thanks Luigi, glad you guys like how this looks.Hope to have it done by the weekend. Thanks again guys for your comments and tips.I appreciate it very much.

Yup...it's how it's done!! Light layers after light layers! Looking great there Leon!! Don't be afraid to touch up anything that goes dark from the dull coat on the tracks and such. Looking forward to seeing your application on the 109!
