I like working with small HO Scale parts, but WOW! That is incredible work, wish I had the talent to build details that small.

Thanks! I prefer making pe part first and then remowing kit part. If something goes wrong when pending pe part I still have the original part intact. I almost melted the kit down a moment ago when I accidentaly overtuned an extra thin cement bottle. Thanks to my reflexes nothing bad happened.

These things aren't that big in 1/35, never mind in 1/48! Nice work on that small PE, definitely adds a lot of detail to this one.

Nice progress Jukka! The issue of the last road wheel depends on a lot of factors...mostly due to the fact that it was an idler and not a 'regular' road wheel, so how it was positioned/tensioned would vary from vehicle to vehicle.

Thank you! Today I will try replacing those molded tool clamps with PE. It will be very, very "relaxing"... Wbill76: allright, thanks.

Small parts and small update. Tool clamps are almost done, not that bad to do. Steady arms and a few swearing words... Original antenna broke accidentaly so I made better(?) from a streched sprue. Maybe we see paint soon!

Also got the tracks done. I think that tamiya messed this up a bit. Last roadwheel is a way too up compared to others. Road wheels are molded in one piece so fixin it is quite impossible. Real deal. Note how straight the wheels are. The position of the wheels is correct and no fix is needed. If you check out pics of the real thing, the last idler wheel does sit higher than the other roadwheels. I believe the design is to help climbing over obstructions. The difference in the actual position of the 4 roadwheels in relation to the idler and sprocket is caused by the torsion bar suspension. Great job on the work you've done so far. I've done some quarter scale PE before and can feel your pain!

Another German 1/2 rack build ! Yeah ! Who'd of thunked there would be this many 1/2 track builds going on at the same time . COOOOOOL ! Really good looking p.e. work . Especially since its in 1/48th scale . I would of lost most of the parts ! PS ....i'm building the old Tamiya 7/2 . interesting vehicles .
