Hi guys, This is a shelved-but-not-forgotten build that was started on the early half of 2012. It is a Trumpeter 1/32 Su-25 Frogfoot A. Ive heard not so good reviews on this kit but for me, it is and does look like a Frogfoot so I got it for a swap meet for my Tokyo Marui M4A1 RIS automatic electric gun. Not bad if I left the airsoft hobby for scale modeling I started it last year as an entry on the Scale Model Addict Big Spring contest but I wasnt able to finish it on time. It was shelved but now Im updating it and continuing with its progress. Some of the fuselage, wing, rudder and elevator decals were already transferred on the plane. The decals are very good and not too thick. The kit is fine for me with a lot of options like if you want to show the avionics bay or the engine bay; assorted weapons to choose from and a lot of decal options. The kit was primed with Mr Surfacer and then painted with Gunze lacquers Sand Yellow, Green and Red Brown. The undersides were painted with Gunze Light Blue thinned down with Flat white. Weapons load out are below: Theyre being primed and preshaded for painting. most will be bare metal and the bombs will be just plain grey as on real steel. Cockpit tight shots: The cockpit were painted with Tamiya Coral Blue rattle can spray. Details came from the decals that were supplied by the kit. Landing Gears were spiced-up with some break lines and pipings using lead wires. The landing gears are superb as they are casted on metal to give support on the massive weight of the plane. Im planning to build three of the iconic Soviet war machines during the Afghan War and will name these builds as the 'Bagram Troika'. These will be the Su-25 Grach, Mi-17 Hip gunship and Mi-24 Hind. That's it for now on this WIP. Thanks comrades!

Looking great so i like it ! I favourite Su-25 frogfoot - Heavy armament loads anti-ground is mostly time than anti-air very few time.

I've always liked the look of the Frogfoot...maybe because it just looks mean with all those stores hanging off the wings! The Troika sounds like a great project iking, keep us posted!
