Thanks Andy, I don't know when this diorama will be finished. Each time I see things that can be done better so I keep trying to improve things, which is very time consuming (and maybe a bit silly ?) Silly? No way! Everybody knows you love to wear a beret and drink beer while modeling... Tools look great!!!

Well Dicky, I have enamel Coke signs in the barn now. I gave them a layer of Clear, sprayed on a fine mist of rust color and applied rust pigments and Dark metal pigments on them. I know I sometimes decide not to use things I built but at least there's a jukebox and a Coke dispenser, and the barn is still there too, isn't it ? LOL ! More coming up my good fella !

To start with : YOU ARE AWESOME !!! I scratched an old, rusty arrow sign to decorate the barn section. Very easy, plastic sheet and some scalpel knife, cutting guided by a couple of ref pics and less than one hour of patience. These are the items I enjoy so much ! ONLY for reference purposes !!! This is what I glued together : I started with a acrylic layer of a Tamiya rust color. I then brushed on a water thinned layer of the same paint color and rust pigments were dabbed in with a soft round brush. Once this was dry I sprayed on acrylic red paint. I worked the red open with a tooth pic to simulate worn paint and rust. I finished with graphite. Best regards ! AG.

Hey Dicky ! There's still a lot to add to the shelves mate, man o man what did I do to myself LOL Thanks Paul, I'm glad you like the items so far, sometimes it's delicate to add certain things. No working lights Steve, I HATE working stuff in a diorama (can't help it oops !). Luigi, thanks for the WOW my friend ! Bill, dressing up such a barn corner is big fun ! Andy, thanks maestro ! Yesterday I added two British jerrycans to the right shelf. See you soon folks ! AG

Steve, it's all in the fiddly bits bro. They save my *ss often. Thanks ! Bill, thanks mate, there's still a bit of work to do but it's coming together now. Leon, thanks ! Wouter, wait until you see it in the flesh, it looks quite different then. Pics don't show exactly how the colors match in reality. Please don't run away and come to me for a good pint or two and a good chat on the hobby ! Andy, I've got more to show you, more little stuff was finished and glued onto the shelves. Luigi, I was lucky, some of these signs were already rusty of themselves so further finishing was an easy job to do. Time for more scratched fun bits...rusty boxes, bottles (stretched transparent sprue), a pulley,... Best regards ! AG.

Checking all the boxes for the cluttered barn details AG, I'm sure I saw this one on the American Pickers TV show here in the US.

Thanks my best buddies ! Steve, cob webs would suit the concept I'm sure, but I'm afraid cob webs in 1/35 scale will be very fragile and won't last long. Yesterday I scratched a simple old radio, 100% pure fun it was ! Today I finished the weathering of it and it's already glued onto one of the shelves as can be seen below. I also finished a rusty'n dusty oil barrel and it was attached too, together with the broom. Still a bit of dust below the barrel to integrate it with the floor. Remember Bob and Sam ? I love them soooooo much... Best regards ! AG.
