Macross is my favourite modelling subject of all time. And while these old Arii kits aren't as good as the new Hasegawa ones, they still have great anime style - though I might suggest getting some new hands to replace the old boxing gloves of doom that were the standard 30 odd years ago.

G'day ER. You could try a Hobby Link Japan search. I tapped in "hands" in the search field and came up with this: Hands SearchThey should be about the right size, and while your at it you could get a set or two of these minus moldsif you wanted to update the kit a little. Hope that helps. I tried to have a look on the Macross World site models page but they only have samples of the instructions rather than full scans.

Hi Bert, I thing I would source out some friends who builds Gundam 1/100 if not better stuck with the 30 year old gloves.
would mind directing me on the sample instructions it would greatly help thanks!!!

Finally finish with the tight fit and sub assembly of the Battroid... on the process of puttying the seam and filling gaps. Cheers!!!

Nice project ER! I have fond memories of watching Robotech in the mornings before heading off to school. That 30 minutes always seemed to just fly by!

T, thanks for checking in... the wrist is still in pain, and as for the cat I hope it still got lives left lol Nemo, the assemble complete but it needs a ton of putty to make it to shape Sometimes I hate sitting in the bench, Andy it pains me not go out and ride lol

Nothing like a good Macross Robotech subject to get you going! Even if it is a dog of a kit, you'll whip it into shape I'm sure.

Thanks Luigi, what I can do about this is kit is to correct the color... the mold is kinda terrible lots of putty have been used just for the body...
