Leon, BJ, Robbo, Bill, Prof and Richard, many thanks again fellas for coming along for the ride! The back seat's getting pretty full... Hey Richard we had a similar thing on the TV when I was a kid. Sometimes I got to see it (one TV, 3 sisters, what can a guy do?) Cheers JT

Hi Boots, thanks mate! Well I think it's finished. There may be too much grime on the windows, I'm thinking about trying to remove some. But it's pretty much there. Thanks again for following, I hope you guys like it. It was good to try a different subject, I certainly have new respect for car model builders! Cheers JT

Love it JT! Very nice work all around on this one. Looks like it's seen some hard miles. The grime on the windows doesn't seem to much to me, but you've got the model in-hand and can best judge based on what you were trying for.

Thanks for your great feedback guys!
Hi Boots, I hope to build another rust bucket soon, maybe next.
Hi Lucas, the window grime is actually a very light airbrush of lifecolor paint. Then I streaked it with a fine paint brush moist with a little Tamiya lacquer thinner.
Cheers JT

Breathtakingly superb, JT. This is more real than the real one... Every single detail and layer is spot on and suits perfectly the overall result.

Hey guys, many thanks! I'm thinking that keeping the chips and mud flecks etc small helps the realism, and makes the model look big. Just a theory. Thanks again!
Cheers JT
