Evenin all. Back at last. Steam powered lap top decided it wasn't going to play anymore. So got the steam powered desk top working again. For how long, remains to be seen. I fully intended to build this OOB but once i dry fitted the body i realised that it's size would be a problem. With the blades fitted it's bloody huge. I found an aftermarket blade fold kit but i couldn't afford it. Attachments:

For some reason it posted the pics before i'd finished typing. here's me home made blade fold kit. After cutting the blades in two ( A tense moment) and i used rediprene (Awesome stuff)for the hinge points. I've also made the blade holders from rediprene and cocktail sticks. And once i've sorted those pics I'll put them up.. As for Dinocroc, He will reappear when ive made the models i've got and i can't afford another one for a bit. But he will be back. I've also got the Airfix Snatch and WMIK to build.

Check out the Rediprene. It's like a cross between rubber and plastic. Really easy to carve. you can heat it gently, bend it to shape and hold for a few seconds and it hold said shape. And its cheap. 3 1/2 quid for a large selection of diffent shapes

Very cool! hope your technology woes don't last too long, you never realize how much you depend on it until it breaks!

Moose. I'm a complete tart when it comes to modelling. If something new catches me eye,it takes priority. But I promise i will get back to the Lynx. And your Enzo is looking mighty fine

Hm. Did you ever thought of using a waterproof black pen for thin black details like IP borders etc?! Works perfect and, in most cases and with a bit of practice, delivers better results.

And your Enzo is looking mighty fine I completely understand haha... I do the same... Something good comes along and I want to do it. Thanks for comment on Enzo. I've managed to somehow stay with it, though I did break and built a plane haha. I just needed a break. It all takes time and no need to rush... I'll be watching your build no matter how long it takes. Great kit...is the fitment end detail good on it?
