Very nice build! The carbon on the valve-covers, is this painted or are these decals? Thanks Dominiek, The carbon was done in decals. I'm actually waiting for some 1/24 scale carbon decal sheets to arrive. I want to compare the 1/24 to the 1/12 (1/12 is what's used so far). I feel like the 1/12 is a bit larger scale than it should be. I'm about to start the interior of the car and I want it to be as close to perfect, or scale, as possible. |

Sorry fellas...had to pull away from her for a lil bit. PITA...that's all I can say! Well here is the beginning of the interior... Got to finish the decals and maybe add some more carbon   Seats mocked up    I'll be working on it all day tomorrow so I'll post more pics then |

Well Moose, you are one lucky bunny. I was fortunate enough to get a look inside the box of one of these but that was as far as it went, it was one of these or a new motorcycle, the kit lost I'm afraid.
It's a shame but I will continue to live the dream through your build, keep it up!

Really nice progress so far Moose.
Which brand/scale of Carbon Fibre are you using, it looks very convincing.
I've made a start now on the Carrera GT, I'll be starting a blog fairly soon once I have some decent progress to show.

Thanks Keith.... Appreciate it buddy. I'm using Scalemotorsport twill weave 1/12 scale (what you see on the dash and interior) . I had used the plain weave 1/12 on the ignition covers but wasn't to happy with the appearance and I'm going to strip it off and redo it. You'll be happy with it but definitely have some Sol or something like it that really softens the decals.  |
