Yeah Nemo.... For now haha. The doors are snagging a little so I have to work on them a little. I'm going to be finishing up the front end tonight. Maybe start with the rear afterwards. Hopefully many more pics to come soon. I'll be moving to a new house at the end of August so the Enzo may be all my building for the next couple months until I get settled in and set up.

A real beauty coming together now Moose, Dicky's right about rushing, pay heed to that small voice saying "should you really be doing this right now?" It's usually about 5 seconds later that something really bad happens if you ignore it...

And landed on both driver and passenger door windows... Uhhhgghh sucks... That's why you don't see them in the pics

Hi Moose,
Whats up with the doors then? is it a paint thickness problem or a tamiya engineering problem?
I'm keen to find out for when mine go together.
Best regards
Keith

Boo, Boots and Prof... Thanks fellas. We don't close on new house till end of August so I have some time ;D Keith... I'll let you know as soon as I do haha... There are a few issues... I don't think paint is the issue. The front edges of the doors on top are snagging a little... I may check the door hinges even though they are pretty much a done deal I have seen another blog and that guy had same issues. Gonna research some more and look back at Scalemotorsport's build as I know he had some issues with alignments too. Sent from my SCH-I605 using proboards

Sorry for the delays as well fellas. Just been busy bee The Enzo is sprayed in Cardinal Red... The color in particular is my favorite shade of red... Looks like a sexy lipstick on a beautiful lady ;D. The color is just deep and rich. The wheels are HRE recreations that I found on eBay. They needed a little loving as they were resin. The final pics will obviously be fully decaled, cleaned and polished.

Hi Moose, Thanks for the update, I'm sure you will get the alignment issues sorted out. The Enzo looks very nice in it's "mock up". I'm looking forward to seeing the finished polished photo's. (great colour by the way.)
Best Regards

I just read through this whole blog in the last 20 minutes or so, and I gotta say that you're doing a remarkable job on this build, Moose! I found a couple of 1/12 Doyusha kits (Trans Am/Mustang Mach 1) at a garage sale and though they're not really what I do, I was tempted to keep them as they were so well detailed and cool to look at! I made a killing on them on Ebay, however:). Great work and sorry that I missed it to this point.

They don't have a ton of aftermarket options like 1/24's do but usually carry more details. The bigger kits are rare and expensive so I see what you mean about making some $ on them. They were a great find for ya.... I would've loved to nab the mustang ;D Thanks for checking out the blog and for the supportive comments... Always appreciated Sent from my SCH-I605 using proboards

Well Fellas....THE GRAND FINALE!! It is by no means perfect, she was a tough one. I did have issues that for the most part were resolved. There are some blemishes that I plan on taking care of after I move into new house and get set up.
As you will see, I have some issues with the doors. I have read other blogs/builds and it seems they had the same issues with the tops popping up. I tried many things including removing some paint, filing down some plastic and even tearing the doors apart and re-doing them. If you plan on building one of these...expect door issues and watch paint thickness at the mating seams.
Overall, I was very pleased with the kit. A PITA at a lot of points but otherwise well molded, fantastic detail and overall the best kit, in my opinion, on the market today. (at least in the automobiles)
Thanks for following and all your great comments, support and advise! I love the MSC!!

Turned out very nice Moose! You should get this one into the MoM for August. Prof & Bill thanks guys. I'm going to shoot a couple photos tonight with a different camera. Try to lessen the light a little. I'll put it in for MOM for August but I'm sure there will be some phenomenal models in it too

As always thanks Nemo n Boo... Greatly appreciated fellas. As for the doors, I've read some builders will tack the doors shut with a little glue if they display it with doors closed. And Boo... It's a little under 16 inches long by 7 inches wide or 400mm X 180mm finished. Here is photo next to my 1/12 Tamiya Yami and 1/24 Sauber Mercedes to give you an idea
