well, got to take two steps backwards now. Seems the dragon wheels when installed the way the Tammy ones were meant to be won't work. I should have checked the width with the tracks. The wheels set up like this will be too wide. So I have to remove the 5 wheels and chop the Tammy boggie down on both sides, then make new axles. Now I know why I hate doing wheels No biggie, just an extra hour or so and she'll be sporting new legs.....um axels

some lovely scratched stuff Rob, this extra detail adds up to the model. Love the way how you did the threaded end of the barrel!

Thanks Wout's
Steve they won't work on the tammy hull. They mount different. It's no big deal to do some chopping and hacking to get them right. This is what can happen when you don't check ref pics, wheels to tracks etc. Here I'm using parts from two different kits, and the AM AFV tracks to boot.

Got more bits added to the turret last night. That's about it for now. Maybe more tonight. You can barely see them but I used some Tichy Train NBW on the dust cover brackets things on the roof. These are very small but will liven up the model when the paint is on. Since the boggies are just tacked on, they will be dealt with this week.

Here is a close up of the Tichy Train nut-bolt-washer detail. Definitly need the optivisor for these.

Thanks John and Spud. Spud, yes and no bro. more pissed at myself for not checking. I went by the Tammy wheel set up. I forgot to check the Dragon wheels with the AFV tracks and the ref pics. Lesson learned. Easy fix that just takes extra time that's all.

Wouldn't know how I'd get the little stuff on without them G. OK, an update. Not much to show except for the mounts for the boxes etc. Fuel can and spare track racks. Still a ton of tiny bits on the rear off the tank still to do....like all the tie downs. More to do when time and mojo permit. ;D ;D
