Nice start CB! What scale is it and what kit? I'm guessing 1/72? I have the Revell kit in 1/48 and the HobbyBoss in 1/72. They Revell is quite nice, but the HobbyBoss one is just beautiful. HobbyBoss have some magnificent detail in their 1/72 choppers and I have quite a stable going at the moment.... Ennyweigh, lookin' good so far mate, looking forward to seeing a splash of paint on! Cheers, Sam

Tabatha-I have the Hasegawa Apache, that hasn't been started yet, mate!I've got the Israkit AM,to make it the Good Apache(WAH64D),but the one on the go,at the mo,is the AFV Club version.... Andy....You ought to broaden yer horizons mate??.There are other Attack choppers than the Apache! Lui...Cheers for looking in mate!Reason I went looking for this one,was because of seeing one on a friends table at Hendon, and yer right unusual set up,and single seater! Sam...this is the Italeri kit in 1/48,copyright 2010,but it's not to say that it is the Revell,reboxed....I never even thought to check I think I'll take a leaf outta the Bosses book, and post all me Whirlybirds here, from now on....

Not been doing much to speak of,of late....but I have been 'tinkering',as my better half calls it....... Hasegawa Apache AH64D Revell Mi24 Hind Italeri Eurocopter Tiger Revell Huey Cobra The AFV club Apache, isn't right for what I want to do,so I have another Hasegawa kit in the wings.... The Blackcats Lynx is gonna get stripped back some, and then the decs will get re done... Oh,and.....Not quite the right place for this, but I've started this as well.... "Can ya tell what it is yet??"

Paul...as soon as I learn how to paint any sense,I could finish all 47 currently on the shelf!!!! Neems,..I know you know,I know...ya know??? ....You were there when I boughted it! Andy...If it's any consolation to ya mate,You've FINISHED a lot more than me,eh? Mark,...I THINK i've got all the AH64 kits released so far,and for me,who wants to do the Westland version, the Hasegawa is the best kit to use, with the Isra Cast additions... Bill,If I could just BUILD these kits,Like review builds you know?.....I could build 1 every 2 or 3 weeks!!!!!! So,...anyway....that appears to be 5 Primary attack rotaries bumbling along, plus a few others on the shelf, that were converted to gun platforms etc.... See you guys next month, with maybe another update>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Might get an update on something this week, weather and work permitting!!!...I tend not to build much during the week cos I'm tired from driving for my salary!!! Leon, the Apache has to be one of the ultimate Attack choppers, once we developed the Longbow system to sell back to you 'Colonials' ...Plus the Westland version has RR engines, with approx 30% extra power, over the original fitted engines,I believe Nice bit of 'Chopper' to have in any armoury, methinks!

STAND BY....STAND BY!!!! An update on some fighting whirlybirds!!!!! As a result of my enforced absence from the UK labour force,I have found myself with the opportunity to have some extra time in the MC.. (Not the spray booth! )...Sooo..to give the armour a bit of a rest,I returned my attention to some birds I haven't touched in a while, and first up was the AH64D....This WAS going to be converted to the WAH64D,but I'll save the ISRA cast bits for another project(I found Hasegawa kit no 09431,which purports to be the Brit version? )Apologies in advance for the poor piccy quality As you may have seen, the main rotor blades need a bit of tweaking, just to impart the slight sag they have when stationary. This and a few other touches will be done at the back end of the build, due to handling etc... I'll post up a few detail shots now,so any questions, comments, crits, you guys know your more than welcome to throw them my way.. BTW,a bit of clean up is still in progress,so don't go shouting about sprue gates,n'stuff,OK? ...and I just noticed, the decs in the cab,are naff...gonna get them out,and drybrush,methinks..Interior is 'black as yer hat' anyways,so not much detail will be seen.. More to come.....Minor U/D on the Hokum, and Cobra....

Cheers, mush!! and yeh,got them just fine mate! You'll NEVER guess what I found when I wus looking fer summat else??? Nuvver update!!!! Did some minor stuff to the Hokum, and the Cobra whilst I was in the mood, not much, but progress, non the less... Still some actuators etc to throw on the rotor assemblies, and obviously the zorsts etc,but she's getting there slowly,..just a few bits of putty in a coupla places, and this to sort... Quick shot of the pit,as well... And finally, the Cobra.....This girl is hanging on by her fingernails....and she's a tad tail heavy.... For those of you who remember the Hind I had on the go....can you tell me where I've misplaced it???
