This Is my first build since returning home from Afghanistan. Dragon Models Panther A "black Knight" kit, Its OOB except for a few scratched items, and decals from my stash. I tried a couple new techniques with this build, i applied a dot filter for the first time, chipped paint with a fine brush and toothpick, and new drybrushing colors. Tell me what you guys think, and please throw some constructive criticism at me! Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Welcome home Phil, good to have you share your build. I think you’ve done a good job of it including the figure. Nice touch with the wooden planks on the rear. The chain hanging out of the stowage bin looks somewhat over scale. Great looking camouflage scheme you’ve applied. Looks like you got a bit of road kill beside one of the road wheels, too cool!
Thanks for sharing, hope we see more of your work . . .

Thanks for sharing, hope we see more of your work . . . Thanks Braille, the unditching planks on the rear of the tank are actually a tactical move on my part, there was a gap between the rear hull, and the rear radiator screens, and the top of the rear hull did not want to mate flush with the rear plate, so i decided to try and conceal my mistake with the planks, plus add a little personality to the model. You are right about the chain, it is a little over scale, i picked up some jewelry chain at Walmart for a good price and that's all i had on hand at the time, its not glued on so i can remove it later. The paint job was done with Tamiya acrylics; I primed with gray primer, then base coated with flat black, then applied a base of Tan lightened with a bit of white, that was applied with an Iwata HP-CS. The red is actually Tamiya rust, and the green is Tamiya OD green lightened with white, and applied with an Iwata Neo at low pressure. I also had no idea there was a dead FLY on my desk! I'm so embarrassed
