Hey folks this is the start of a new project for me i have decided to build my top 2 faves of WW2 in a dual build i will be taking a leaf from scratch master flash (Dicky) in building 2 kits at once im basing these kits on actual tanks that were in the Battle for Berlin 1945 the KT will be built here and the JS-2 in the Allies thread i have found some interesting research on the KT im building so more on this in a later post Im using Tamiyas offering a great kit just not as detailed as a DML KT but nothing a bit of elbow grease and mental strenth cant fix i will be using PE for detailing from ET models and some scratched parts i will be ordering a RB barrel and fruils at some point So on with the show 1st on the list was the roadwheels and some cosmetic preperation for some texturing Another part i wanted to show was the loaders hatch open when opening the box i saw a poorly detailed hatch with a number of sink marks so out came a sanding stick and some styrene a few hours later we had a slightly better detailed hatch now thats it so far i have some bits in the post for the texturing as soon as this arrives i will have a update for you all Dan B

Love that detail Dan ! I looked back and couldn't see where the turret details came from . That isn't in the Tamiya kit is it ?

There are, of course, 'other' costs afterwards that have to be minded, just make sure that you include something in the vows about ability to purchase kits regularly and you'll be fine.
