I used the Eduard supplied p.e. rifling for the barrel and sprayed it flat black after it was installed . When that dried I rubbed with a cotton swab dipped in powdered pencil lead .

Very nice work on the rifling Carl! Those small circular holes around the barrel were the vent holes for the rocket's exhaust when it fired so you may wish to darken them up a bit as well to show that it's been 'in action'. Loving every update on this beast!

I dabbed and spread more smoke pigment around the barrel and front of casement .per Bills suggestion . There's been a definite shift in the hue of the colors since I over sprayed the model with a mist coat of matt . Plus a view from the rear .

Dunno about the shift in hue, all I know is that I can't keep my eyes from watching again and again the stunning worn look of the paintjob and all those neat scratches.

Excellent work as usual Carl. I love the look of the muzzle! It's mean!
The dots of the ambush pattern turned out so good with the weathering on. I like those slight irregularities and imperfections. Makes them look so natural.
Keep it up.
Cheers, Tobi

Lui , Crazy isn't it how we like the look of scratches on our armor models but we wouldn't dare do that on a aircraft model , least ways not me . That the beauty of building armor .Thanks for your comments my friend .
Leon , what I told Lui and thank you my friend .
Hey John good to read your comment !
Bruce thanks . Stick a human down it ? Hmmmmm , where's Andy ?
cerevesta , This is part of the part of buiding that I enjoy the most , painting and weathering . Much appreciate your comment.
Tobi thanks . I was not satisfied with them dots originally so it is good to read that you noticed a favorable difference in them .
Andy glad it keeps getting better ! I don't want this thread to get boring . Of course you love me ........I'm your dad right ? Now go to bed son !!!!!
