BTW, going back to heavy weathered planes, sooner or later I'll tackle my 1/32 Ar196 from revell, that one is a sure weathering fun. All the salt peeled paint, rust, streaks and so on...

Thanks again for being here my friends ! Bill , glad you have the to enjoy the build . Deano , I've never entered in a show before so that would be an interesting experience to try out . Wouts , Good to read you like the results . Lui I looked up that model and found a build of it on youtube ......wow ! Its big and detailed !!! Dan , I've been working on it . Mostly redoing a few areas . Thug , I like weathering but its difficult to know where to stop . Here's the Tamiya RW61 rocket rounds that our friend Tony kindly sent me . I'll get them painted here soon . I want to get to the running gear on this next . Thanks again Tony !

Probably not much of a diff looking but I made some changes to weathering on the barrel and mantlet . I'm trying to bring out the cast look of the mantlet more with some high lighting while showing more smoke smudge in the overall look . Turns out to have been a difficult blend . At least for me .I'm done with it now , at least that's what I'm saying this morning .

You're the master at establishing layers of subtlety Carl! The look of the mantlet now does show off the texture more, very nice.

Guy , thanks for the triple rating ! Nems , thank you.............. mucker !!!! Joe , Glad to read you like it ! I finished up the exhaust and attached the jack box . Four holes were drilled where the exhaust shields would be bolted to the rear plate . On the exhaust I used some spackle mixed in with pigments to get a rough texture on the exhaust pipes . The four lifting eyes on the armored exhaust shields are straight pin heads .
