Hi fellas I've been lurking on the forum watching your work, all very inspiring stuff so keep it up. I work away from home during the week which is why I'm quiet as I can't post pictures. However, I'm home this weekend so here's some photos of my finished A-7 Corsair II in 1:72. The concept is this aeroplane is ready for the scrap heap and has been left in the corner of a yard awaiting it's fate. It's not a Boneyard piece hence all the dirt and grime. I used plenty of AK stuff, winter streaking grime for a filter and streaking plus some of the new ship products including oils. I need to knock up a quick base, I'll be doing that in a few weeks. Anyway, here are the pictures.

Saw this one on fb as well. Fantastic weathering mate. You really are the master of weather aircraft.

Looks like you've nailed the 'waiting for the end' look! Nice wear and tear all around.

Stunning weathering, Jamie. It really looks like a plane left off in the desert.

The weathering is spot on, looks just like a gate gardian. What brand is the model ? Lost of detail for a 1/72 kit. Bet you used some AM update sets

OK... you need to stop lurking and post more if it's gonna look like that. Always impressed with a model that looks like a larger scale. there is a teeny tiny part of me that doesn't believe that's 1/72 scale .

Thanks guys. This is the Hobby Boss kit and I assure you it is 72nd. I've done the base but you'll have to wait a week or so until I can get home to the computer. ;-)

Very nice. I've admired your previous work and enjoyed the concepts you bring out in your models and weathering. I've tried to emulate some of your steps in my more recent builds. Still a long way from even being on the same airfield as you but work like this keeps me striving to improve. Will look forward to seeing the total finished package. Rick
