Hobby Boss 1:35 AAVR-7A1 Assault Amphibian Vehicle

Hi guys,

yesterday i´m looking on ebay and found the AAVR-7A1 from Hobby Boss!! The price was 1,50€ and the auktion was going until today 11 o clock!! I make my bid, 2,50€ and, BINGO!!!
So is my next projekt the....



I looking forward to build the interieur and the movable crane and maybe the tracks!!?? Conversion-kit i´ve found too!!

Nice set!!! I won that from raffle at recent model show and I traded it for diorama base from MiniArt. LOL Maybe I shouldn't have but I don't do modern vehicles and I thought it was a nice kit when I looked inside.

hi all modellers,


at the summer is not so much time for modelling!! Play with the childs and dog, 2 weeks before i married my Alice and work work work, work more and more!! i looking forward to winter!!!!!!!


But yesterday i´ve started to build the AAVR. It´s a nice kit, much more pieces, but the interieur does not like to believe that together as one!! ( Hope that´s right!!??) Pic´s i make them on weekend and send sunday eveneing.

Here the first pic´s from the AAVR.


The lower hull with the wheels was not so difficult but i see at pic´s from the original, they have support rollers, the kit no!! Why??






The interieur is more easy, i make not so much extra. Whores and cables are good detailired (?) but the seats i think are very small. My drivers ass are so fat........!!

At this evening i build again and want to changed the seats.

Oli....I looked at this earlier today,and had a mooch through Google images,and it appears that some of these show top return rollers,and some are as the Box art....I can only surmise that because of the various upgrade programmes the US are doing to these vehicles,you are building one of the early vehicles?..Just my tuppenies worth!

Hi guys,

thanks all!! I don´t want make so much extra on the interieur, but the details of the kit are not enough for me!! So i start with this updates!! I´ve sell the AAVP 7A1 for the same price fron the same dealer!! Now i´ve 2 AAV´s here to build but i start the other later!!

Today on eveneing is send new pic´s fron the new update from yesterday!!

Good work so far Oli. You dont need return rollers as the drivetrain was changed. USMC AAV's and Army Bradleys now share a common set of tracks sprockets and wheels.

Oh yes, i was eating!!! So much!! At this time, i´ve no time to build!! Our married, birthday from the kids, my car is f**k off, my chef has a big great nail in his head, changing my work, it´s so much in this moment!!

I hope to find more time to modelling soon!!?? I look more here until the new modelling time!!
