Great idea Doogs! I still have my little HobbyBoss MiG-3 to finish off. Your build may be just the inspiration I need to finish it!! Looking forward to the next installment mate! Cheers, Sam

Got some nice progress tonight trimming all the resin bits for the Aires pit. Amazingly, the pit fits without having to trim or sand or remove anything from the kit parts. I'm honestly wondering if this is actually an Aires cockpit... Also did a test fit of the major airframe components...lookin' good:

Played around quite a bit tonight and figured, if I'm going to be doing this thing unpainted, may as well carry that through to the cockpit..

Will be cool to see the metal vs. wood contrasts, especially on a build of this scale. Looking forward to it doogs.
