I could tell you your a master with plastic..........pa large fur ball hits the floor had to say something nice all joking a side you are a craftsman. Andy over the last year you have excelled this last work hits all the marks lets see what happens may be MM can help..................NOT. I think its very good in every aspect don't keep putting your selfdown.

Cheers for the kind words Mac.I dont put myself down mate Euro,s judges usually do that for me but i do love the show to see what others have done.I do know the score there though and accept it but i love the meeting up with mates and having a party weekend and making a fool of myself with the help of alcohol.I hold more of a credible judge of work at the nationals as no one knows who the artist of the work is on judging.Anyway thats enough on that subject and thats not the reason i model,Its because i love creating miniature worlds like this one.
Latest aditions to this are more groundwork done and leaves added one by one on bramble shoots.


















Next up i took two atemps at making lady birds.The first one was a bit over scale.The second one seen on the leaf is more in scale.This was done from bluetac painted through the magnifier as you can hardly see it .







Then i made a Red admiral butterfly out of paper and the body is again bluetac.Painted in acrylics.

I may have a rotten apple in the grass on the opposite side of the drum with a wasp on it . This is not overdoing the detail as these things hardy show unless you study the scene.

Andy those additions are fantastic so much hard work and thought its Fantastic everyone has praised it to the hilt bar one who,s on another planet anyway.Dont spoil it by looking at the past be positive about the future. Its a little naïve to think no one will know who built this as its been on a few sites and most judges from any show go on line and see whats going on not forgetting nationals are that thoe you get some foreign interests Euro is considered to be the best in the world not for trade but the builds and models on show and I think your fit right in with this. Now lets see that wasp and apple Dr Doolittle with a brush.

Thanks for the imfo Mac. To be perfectly honest this was done as a rust article for Delux materials to be published in a certain magazine one of which you know about,I was only having a bit of banter with Dicky on the Euro thing.Yes i will take it there and yes i hope it does well as any one who enters a comp would like to do well. We all like rewards and praise for our efforts .if we didnt we would not be blogging on sites and enjoying feedback. i dont hold out much hope at Euro and i have my reasons to why i think that but like i said before i do this for me first and comps follow.Euro for me now is just a weekend of looking at superb modelling and having fun and banter with you guys..
One comment made to me at Euro Mac by one of the judges was = trouble is with competing at Euro Andy is that you have the Masters and then there is people like you. I knew from that point on that i will never crack Euro,I would love to be proven wrong but sadly have to face reality.Like Dicky has said we know our limits there.

Cheers Bill. I dont know what i have let myself in for now as this evening i am doing a number of tiny wasps. Each have three sections to the body and head and they are that small they are going to be murder to paint.I have also made and painted a half eaten apple which i like the look of but sadly i have run out of space on photobucket and even when i delete stuff it says sorry not enough space .

Tonight i have done the apple and it is infested with wasps and i think it looks great,.It took a long while to do and unfortunately i cant show the pics. Dam PB.

Latest on this is construction of the wasps and the half eaten apple also i have done a dragon fly.The insects were made out of green stuff.I used a dead wasp for reference.One wasp is right inside the apple with just his backend sticking out. Hope you like it.I have to adjust the wings on the dragon fly,they look good to the naked eye but in the camera shot the need trimming to identical sizes.
