Disgustingly brilliant!!! Andy you are the master of all things groundwork old chap, perhaps you should write a book for us mere mortals to learn your methods. The wasps are a touch of genius my friend. I assume you used real insect wings for your wings on the wasps and dragonfly?

Latest i have done on this is i have added leaves to butterfly bush and then i have added a snails trail to the pallet which is hard to see in this scale but it works.I used the whites of a raw egg for this.Then i made a cluster of snails clinging to the side of the pallet as you often find them in these type places.I made them out of green stuff then painted them in velejo acrylics followed by a coat of Johnsons floor polish. I think they are a great addition to the scene.Mac Mcconell pointed me in this direction with the thought of having a slug with a snails trail which led me to thinking about the snails.This one is almost done now just needing a tweek here and there.
