Hi guys, I'm back in business again. I was having my summer holiday road trip with my gf so no time for modelling or computer. We were two weeks in the northern Finland at my girlfriends summer cottage and drove around north. I broke my airbrush needle and can't continue my other projects so I guess I have to start another one. This time something bigger than a 1/48 halftrack. I'm having a few good ideas with panzer IV's so I chose an DML kit with molded zimmerit. Let's see if I can find something suitable in my am parts box. Yeap, I found something

Good to have you back! Glad your trip to Finland was good. A friend of mine told me mosquitoes there were as big as birds.
Great choice... Pz IVs are one of my favorites. And plenty of aftermarkets I am fan of. I am interested to learn more about miniature... plant looks pretty good. More pictures please?

Welcome back....and wow what a great kit to start with. A little something he says. Lots of very cool goodies going on this one. Gonna check at the next show for some of those IV goodies, like a metal barrel or two.
Looking forward to seeing this one get built.

Thanks, it's nice to be here again. Yes, mosquitos are big in here and there are LOTS OF them. You slap your feet once and there is ten dead mosquitos.. Also there is lots of blackflys and those things bite a piece of your skin off... So welcome to Finland I'm planning to do a very worned out vehicle, but no a total wreck. One inspirational photo:

It´s been a very productive modelling sunday. Almost completed the other fender half. Other half will be much easier to do now. Dry-fitting upper hull Pending tool is a really usefull when pending long parts. And almost completed fender. Hardest part was gluing those plates. They needed to be exactly right place to get it right. Don´t mind that askew plate, its fixed now

Very nice job on the fender. Looks like they virtually replicated the entire structure just like on the real vehicle. Impressive!

Why worry, each of us is wearing an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back.
