New Friend to the site Rob K poor sod lives about 4 miles across the water from me.
There is a bridge so its about 15 mins.
I invited Rob round being like minded chaps for some model time after Andy A pointed Rob my way.
Rob has just started out but is a fast learner so we have gone for a joint effort.
In this case a Panzer IV late war Hard edge.........nothing like starting at the deep end.
Robs round later so we will post some pictures of our progress that's if he does not stand me up.
I have put on a special little black number gents! what are you thinking......I have a panzer commander on the go and you thought?

Well Robs gone home with homework decals are on a few more filters added and now robs off to paint tools

Thanks guys Robs almost right used Mr Hobby for the cam but I did mix the colours we also did some work on the running gear.

Great progress fellas the camo work is outstanding what Mr Hobby colours did you you use Mac? i recently bought som MH Leveling thinners that stuff is awesome makes working with Tammy paints even easier Dan B |

On with this tomorrow gang camo mix for the red brown was Mr Hobby H17 COCOA BROWN/H13 RED/H37 WOODBROWN THE green was H422 rlm 82 lightgreen.

Well rob tipped up this morning for a few hour s in the man cave we had a direction for the IV but soon went another way bring on the cam change were going spotty. .  DSC08282 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. We think it looks better like this we have also been doing some chipping using the brush and sponge method on a Sherman pics of that will follow later. We have also used mig powders thinned and sprayed as well so its been a busy morning. Heres the dust effects we still have to do metallization and sort that track joint ,we also did some blue filters on the rubber. .
