Tony
I think Gary is right I have been having all kinds of paranormal activity around here and 3 hours ago it all stopped when you came back on, now I see what calmed it all down.

T-80 track question? I put the clear coat on for decals and it's drying so I dipped the Friul tracks in Black 4 Tracks. Looking at photos of T-80s they look like they have metal cleats embedded in rubber pads. Is this correct? Appreciate the answer Tony lee

Tony, best I can see,so far, that is how the T 80 tracks look....although actual manufacture may have been cleated metal links, with the rubber bonded on?.....I'll have another look see...

That's the only color shot i've got and all the others are black and white and it's hard to really tell. That photo was what I was basing my guess on.

I was looking at the 'New' links on the glacis,I assume you were too?...Then look at the metal finish on the cleats? If you're not building a 'specific' vehicle, the overall generic look of the SPG should be sufficient,eh? Never looked at a set of T 80's.Don't know if they got a set at Bovington?

Over on the Sherman Shop site, Jeff dug up info that they were indeed steel cleats coated with rubber. Now I can proceed with color. Thanks for the help. Tony lee

Decals: 204th FA, Korea 1952 Right side has no markings. Decals suck, they disintegrate when touched so go ahead and get some AM decals first thing. Cheers Tony lee
