Rick's 1/72 Westland Whirlwind - Finished!

Finished up Special Hobby's Whirlwind last weekend.  It fought valiantly but I finally overcame it's quirks and enough of my own mistakes to say "I win!".
She is built to represent 263 Squadron from early 1943 based at RAF Warmwell.   Thanks to those that followed my thread and provided encouragement and comments along the way.  Here are her final portraits.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind words. Dave, to answer your question, I debated a couple of days and pulled several partial builds and new kits out of the stash but they just didn't speak to me. Then I remembered this one I picked up earlier this year and it started calling my name.



I'll get a thread going shortly once I get into build mode. It's a limited release from 1974 with choices for the glider or powered version. Not sure which one I'll go with yet.
