Thanks for looking in chaps!!! Thadeus,this is a nice kit,although it appears it is not the main Merk ARV.There is another version with a larger crane,and 2 winches.In fact, I'm not even sure if this version actually made it into service.And guess what,I don't care!!!  ..I'm building this cos I want to,and it's a maintenance vehicle.Oh,and when someone brings out either of my former rides when I was strangling the spanners for Her Maj,in plastic,I'll be all over the pair of them!! Bill,fer pitys sake,don't keep Neems in check,it's partly cos of him I started the darn thing.(So don't blame CS!!! ) Cheers,Leon...crane looks pretty good,but from what I read it can't lift a Merk PP!! Andy,first off,I wasn't aware we needed to pass things by you before we startes summat? .....Second..Yes do a wingy!!...and third..we don't take piccies at local hostelry beer fests,might end up too embarassing,apart from that,I was in no fit state to point a camera at ANYBODY!!  Chris..good to see ya fella!! Where you bin?? Neems,YUP!! Pity they didn't do the Pack,but like I said to Leon,looks like that jib wouldn't lift it in real life,anyway!!! Lui,re the ironing,my better half beat me to it ,so I threw a nice curry together instead.Neems,thanks for looking in mate.Yeh,I did do a swap with BoD,for some Meng bandies,but they didn't seem to want to fit mine,so when I saw a set of frillies on Steves stand I scared the crap out of him by buying them,and some bling and barrels for the 'Black Prince' All I gotta do now is overcome my fear of shiny stuff,and get that added to the Merk!!! |
