1/72 Short Stirling B.I or B.III - British heavy bomber ( Airfix ) Kit No. A07002 Re-released - Old tools but I don`t mind with it so im sure of it will be nice of model display. Also I know Know !- I heard of another manufacturer will make new one 1/72 by new tools but don`t know of when is it will be released out yet ? Fuselage is largest than 1/72 Lancaster`s fuselage ! Nice - Decals By cartograf ! The Short Stirling was the first four engined British heavy bomber of the Second World War. designed and built by Short Brother in Short Bros and Harland & Wolf in Belfast. Short Stirling Heavy bombers at Short and Harland & Wolf , Belfast, Northern Ireland 1941.
Easter 1941 - Factory in Belfast were damaged or destroyed as "Belfast Blitz" by German Ju-88 Night bomber.

I know very little about this bomber. Looks bigger than Lancaster? Of course please will you allow your deaf mate join to follow your build? Good having you back from your long holiday as Americans call it vacation.

I'll be watching Stug... I'm really taking a liking to the fixed wings now... Let me know what you think of the Airfix kits... I've been eyeballing their 1/24 Spits and Mustang Best luck with it. And looking at the old photos... That baby is larger than I thought.

I'll be watching this one. I have been in two minds about getting this kit. It has markings that would suit a project of mine and would be a type I don't have. I have heard there are issues with it but it can be built up as a great kit.
I believe Italeri are supposed to be releasing one. From what I have read on other sites, people aren't holding there breath, either for it actually coming out or being any good.

Holy smokes! It is HUGE!!! Placing it next to Lancaster fuselage was a clever idea to show us how big it was. Good start my friend!

Robbo, yes, agree with you, airfix classic kit is lots of crappy - lots of re-working - sanding, sanding, sanding down and lots of filllllllers by lots of hours. Airfix got one stirling kit only in worldwide. I was waited, waited waited for italeri new tools @ over one year so gave up then bought airfix Stirling for interesting with ww2 history in my country. My eyes still keeping on italeri news latest & notice me by ASAP. I thinking of italeri mighty will be release out Christmas before. ;-)
