Rob;
Thank you for the support. It is the IJN 17 and the ship is the IJN Kongo. both are 1/700 scale. I used the IJN BB PE from GMM.
I just viewed your post on weathering. Is that the 1/426 Revell kit? I love that model.

AH Nemo....I fully understand.
I'm looking at it from an engineering prospective and for the era. The IJN for the time and lack of resources, had some very fascinating vessels for the time.
But what do I know.......I'm a "Dirt Sailor".
I hope to improve on my skills learning from the likes of you. So far I think this group is great.

wbill76;
Thank you. You have to agree.....the IJN ship and aircraft carriers are truly floating art.

Hi Sam, sorry, missed the comment. Yep it's the ooooooold Revell kit. Man what a dog of a kit too...lol. But it's a great kit to get back into ships again.
