Some of you may already be aware of this, but I'd figured I'd share for those that don't. I've been having issues finding the Future Floor Polish anywhere. I was trying to find an alternative for it then I ran across an article in FineScale Magazine about how SC Johnson has stopped making Future and the Pledge Multi Surface Floor Care Multi Surface is Future. It's the same great stuff Future was, just in a new package. Cheers Fellas! Mike

I have been using this for almost a year. I have not had any problems with it as a gloss coat for armor. I have brushed it on small areas and not had any trouble. Maybe I have just been lucky. Boo, if you say it doesn't work the same on clear parts I believe you. You would know a lot better than me. All I can say is for what I have used it for, Airbrushed over a flat acrylic finish, I have not had any problems.

Appreciate the imput Mark... I dipped my p51 clear parts the other day and all seems fine so far. I have handled the instrument gauges with no apparent problems but haven't messed with the canopys yet, I'll let you know But, by all means anyone using it should test it anyway. According to FSM magazine, they were told by the manufacturer it is identical as future polish. Never know... They may have changed it a little. I will note that I did get a different pledge polish that seemed like water

That's the one I have, and it works perfectly.
But it is sold exclusively in the US. All the similar brands sold in the EU are different as, I was told, the formula contains something forbidden here in Europe.

Luigi, check the link I posted Bro. You might find something that works, he covers a lot of ground about what it's called on your side of the pond.

Luigi, check the link I posted Bro. You might find something that works, he covers a lot of ground about what it's called on your side of the pond. All the brands in that page are no longer available with the correct formula. The only original formula around that I know is the US one. EU regulations forbid direct sale to the EU of Future, so I asked my sister-in-law to bring me one last time she was in Columbus

This is so crazy! EU prohibiting Future sales... is it toxic? I drink it all the times and I am still here. Sometimes excessive government control scares me...

Maybe we should explore into shipping cases of Future to Luigi and he will distribute for us at 500-1,000% price mark up. We split profit...

Ouch! 70 pounds?!?!? I can buy one for maybe $6 at store and maybe have it shipped to UK for $20-$25 so that would be about 20 pounds? Just don't hesitate to let me know if you want me to get you one. I promise no mark up fee as long as you are active member of MSC. LOL

LOL Andy,if I was you I would be VERY careful about shipping fluids between the USA and here.Quite a few of the suppliers here, will not even ship paints outside the UK now, because of new regulations. As for the 'Pledge'/Future thing, the Multi surface stuff over here,is different from the 'Original' formula as far as I know, and is also milky, and not clear, like the old stuff was.

Boo humidity could very well play a big part. Take a small box and hang a 60w bulb in it to serve as a drying box. A lot of us made clothes boxes for our uniforms in Nam with a 60w bulb in there to keep mildew from forming on them, worked a charm.
