Not sure if this is in the right place, but bought a Verlinden No. 2100 US Army Armored Trailer 1:35 scale and am building it to pull around behind Shermans'. It's amazing at how much clean up you have to do on resins, but the details are great!
Here, have already started cutting, separating and cleaning up the pieces for the Trailer.

It is a nice little kit, I built one some time ago as there had to be a lot of them in the field supplying ammo.

Worked on her yesterday. Have most of the construction finished. Just need to do the brake hydraulics, then she's ready for primer.

Then remembered, didn't do the side rails on the box.

Thanks guys. She just came out of the paint booth with 6 shades of Olive Drab.
Does anyone know if they take any markings on the trailer?

Looked in a few places, but haven't found any pics with markings. May just put a little star on the sides and some numbers on the bumper and tung.

Could be... I was thinking about now as everything has serial numbers. I wasn't thinking that far back during WWII. I am sure it had a custom marking 'Berlin or Bust!' in the rear.

Bruce,I would have thought that at the very least there would be a manufacturers build plate somewhere, even on a trailer. If the US Army Logistics guys were anything like ours, they would need a number for everything they issued,so it could be accounted for!

This doesn't work for most Electricians. First you coat the lenses with Chrome silver paint, then ( after drying ) take a fine red Sharpie and color in the areas. See what I be sayin!

Just got caught up on this little trailer Bruce. The added details look great, especially with the paint on her.
