Ok fellas......quick U/D.... The rear area is now completed with all the seats added.........rear stowage box 90% done, i`ve left out the radio for a mo as i`ll paint that seperate when the time comes.....plus i need to scratch a small tarp that hangs over the front of the radio box to stop it getting wet. Sorry about the clumsy smudge on the front wing and bonnet.........i managed to get some oils onto my finger without realising and then picked the cab up.......it`ll wash of with a bit of thinners tho!! Everything is just dry fit at the mo and i can see that there is gonna be a bit of messin` around to close that join between the cab and rear area.........might tackle that grill next with the PE.......i reckon on displaying the fins on the grill open!! Thanks fellas........like i said, the `ol back is givin` grief so only a small U/D...........hope to get some primer on the back box tomoz

I'm really likin the PE patrol Boots. The MG especially. What did you use to roll the heat shield on the barrel? Sorry about your smilie problems. That's happened to Me a few times, you do your post, get ready to send, think your doing great, hit the smilie button and WHAM it's gone. Kinda like this............................ Model on, Dude

Thanks again guys...... Brief update........i`m about 90% finished with the build now so hopefully soon this can start getting some paint down on the uppers....had to work today so i didn`t get the remaining few bits finished, hopefully i can get them done this evening. Body and gun pulpit are only dry fit at the mo btw The front grill has had the PE choice so i can model the front end open......that was fun and games coz there was a lot of spring in the etch itself, a bit of heat and a few bends give this more of a worked look to it... Also the fiddely little front lights have been added as has the other door......the little winch has been made but i`ll add that at the end so`s i can paint it seperately.. The resin mines have been placed in the racks but i don`t know if i`ll use them yet!! The rear mudflaps added plus all the inner seating, arial mount etc.... Need to track down some decent WWII American stowage (Bags, ammo boxes etc) Thanks fellas

Really liking this build mate, looking good. Sure Tamiya make a US WWII set of goodies, add some Thompson's, Garand's and .50 cal ammo boxes in there, sorted!
