Great work on the OD like the tones. I would say it would be less likely that the winch would have been in anything other than OD. The US was a giant arms machine during this period with many factories churning out equipment and everything was OD! (well almost) even if the winch was replaced in the field I'm pretty sure it would have been OD. However I could be wrong. I'd go down the stowage route to add some colour variation say in the way of liberated goods.

Just a quickie..... 2 light coats of `Johnsons Klear`..........the 2 side decs (these needed a bit of persuasion to lie over the rivet heads and tie down), also started on the innards, the floor is in early stages by having some wash but i need to buy some pigs before i can really get going!! the seats are washed, highlighted and awaiting the next stage (whatever that may be )...... Sorry not the best light i`m afraid.....the top pic shows the Klear has darkened it down already and looks quite a nice rendition of the colour.......i`ll put another 2-3 coats over this to protect any existing work and seal the decs...........then i can go mad Thanks fellas

Stage 2.......a dry-brush with some Yellow Ochre, need to go lighter on the highlights yet with some light tan/buff etc then i`ll gloss and darken back with the weathering.............well thats the ferkin` plan here anyway , if not.............i`ll respray and start again!!!!!!!!! Don`t ask me in what direction i`m going with this coz i ain`t got a `scooby doo`.............just following pictures CB..............yeah i know!!!............i`m allowed to now
