Hello fellas, Does any one have any info on this SU-152 salvage video? Was it a long work in progress or did they just pull up, do a couple hours of maintenance and crank it right up? Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_aDMqFrUV8Seems to run like it never sat in the middle of nowhere for 65 years. Thanks for any info fellas! Gary

Looks to be an ISU/JSU 152 and not a SU. Something is not right? ? Could not have been sitting there that long I don't think. That was too easy Tony lee

Gary,
From what I remember this took some time to get it running......seems like he had to re-adjust the timing and starter crank etc. I think it was moved to its present spot not long before. I thought there were some edits in the video...? Some of these vehicles remained in service for quite awhile after WW II.
This is not a World War II JSU 152 it's post war but still quite old. The side skirts are similar if not the same to the J10s/JSIIIs used in the Arab Israeli war.
Regards, Paul
