Great work so far at this difficult scale, seeing the entire cockpit on the front of a clothes peg really bring home the skill you have applied to getting this done.
Best Regards
Keith.

Thanks Keith, high praise indeed from someone of your skills 1/72 used to be my preferred scale but I moved down (up?) to 1/144 which has given my eyes a bashing I think 1/32's on the cards real soon

No problem Mark , let me know how you get on when you try some Thank you DF7 Glad to have you along. The kit decals helped a lot here as the the Citadel wash Welcome Brother G Thanks for the support buddy. If you see one of these kits pick it up, it doesn't quite fall together but it does build nice , there's a nice set of AV8A decals out there too if you want a Marines version. Though knowing Airfix they'll bring out one with US weaponry

Update as promised guys Fuse went together well, few joints to fill but nothing too bad. the airbrake fits to one side the traps between the two. Sometimes this can leave a big gap on one side but not here. Nice one Airfix Wing on next, again it fits well. The gaps on the top fuse are bigger than the panel lines but they reduced with a drop of Tipex Despite fitting the intake together before fitting the fuse, there is still a gap in the front wheel bay. This is where the locating tabs for the cockpit tub on the fuse sides don't meet. Never mind a small piece of white stock will fix this Worst fitting thing so far is where the intake trunking meets the outer air intakes. I found a 2mm gap all round on both sides here. I've given them a quick wipe with Squadron White filler. Still to be cleaned up in the pic When I build another of these, most likely the GR3, I'll remove the locating pins on the trunking to allow it to move further forward. This'll close the gap nicely ACW as Ever

You've gotten some pretty fine work here. This kit certainly does not look to be a shake-n-bake. Again, fine work. Dave
