Another visit to ebay; I've got to block my access to that place- its all well and good saving money on a purchase- its the bloody number of purchases I'm making at the moment- and none of them are alcohol fueled! The barrel is for the Revelle/Italeri versions of the A-5 but I'm hoping it'll only take some minor tweaks for the Tamiya kit- otherwises its back to e-bay...

Well folks, what a great two days it has been for my collection of un-built modern MRAP vehicles. First up is the 1/35 Legend 4x4 MRAP Truck. A big public thanks to Ian Hanratty of Friendship Models, who hand delivered the kit on his way back home from the Dublin Model Show to Edinburgh via Belfast. Great to put a face to the name. Second, was the surprise of the year (and it really was...ohh what’s this big white box sitting on my desk? I asked myself). An absolutely exquisite 1/35 Cougar MRAP by Gordon Brown a.k.a. Cromwell Models. To say I am a happy chappy, is an understatement. Chris.

Hey Dicky,
To be honest, neither can I justify it, but the Cougar was ordered and paid for quite some time ago (well before even the current plastic M-ATV MRAP's & Buffalo where announced), so in my mind it does'nt count in this round of expenditure!.
I have settled on a bid program which starts with my Riverine Patrol Boat, the Buffalo MPCV, M-ATV's, Cougar and then HET with a M1A2 on the flat bed. At my rate, that will take me to about 2018!.
Chris.

cool luigi panther is one of my favorite tanks. I recall "building" a Jagdpanther in 1/76th when I was a boy. I needed it to fight against my brother's Bismark in the backyard, so the "build" was fast and careless, making it a little weird to look at, but very effective in battle I have to make a proper build of one of 'em
