Chris: Sweet Modern kit mate! Love the MRAP. Please do a full blog when you build one of those bad boys! Spud: Nice figs and awesome Panther. Yep, I'm gonna have to do one of those someday too Luigi: Lovely Sherman man! You gonna do a Desert scheme on that one?

Well i met up with Ken and Iain at one of two LHS, a bit late but I made it. At the first place I did manage to pick through some boxes with misc PE and resin items. grabbed some PE for a Tiger I, Sherman Fruil tracks and a few other PE sets. These will be great for misc wreck debris.
Second shop I found what I was looking for, well sort of. Grabbed an Acadamy Tiger I with interior, Dragon T-34/85, AFV T-34/76 with interior, Dragon Marder II and few misc building items like Bronco Panther tracks, and some Fruil early tiger I tracks.
All but the Marder II are for planned wrecks for the next year.

Luigi: Lovely Sherman man! You gonna do a Desert scheme on that one? Yes, I will. I'm getting it as I want to participate in three campaigns at the same time. One is North Africa GB here on MSC, the second one is the STGB on Britmodeler and the third is on my forum I think I'll start it as soon as I'll finish the T-34.

Hey cool kit there Luigi, and very cool that you have a local forum. That kit is suppose to be pretty good. I'll have one landing on the bench in a few weeks.
Forgot to mention two other minor things that I picked up................Panzerwrecks #6 and #12............yep, scratchmod finally broke down and baught the PW book. I have over the years only thumbed through a book or two but never actually owned one. Might have to grab another one, or two, or three..... LOL

Spud it's not a mag that all LHS will carry. The first shop we went to didn't have them, just FSM type mags. The second shop had AFV mags and some PW.
Luigi, I have been thumbing through these books at shows for years and finally bought them. You can usually find these at good model shows. i know I will be looking at the next show in Sept.
