Jeff, I had missed this splendid build. Great job on this braille thingie. It's funny to see that modern AFVs look like they have been designed by kids

Gentlemen, your comments are most gracious. Was planning an other update for last night, but we had the 2 1/2 year old tornado (Grandson) in the house and he kept us pretty busy Hope to get more done tonight.

Grml... Never had the chance to drive one of those (did military service 2000-2002). Just M113 and SPZ "Fuchs" Im kinda jealous. What color is the beige? I mean beige is okay, but if your a "rivet counter" youll need these: www.kratz.maxwebshop.de/default.asp?ex=shop/produktedetail.asp&artikel_id=194865>>Umtarnfarben Bundeswehr from Vallejo. The German verb "umtarnen" means to put on a new camouflage on vehicles etc. - what was the case for ISAF vehicles for example, and a few others.

Tig, It's Revell's Gulf War Armor Sand. Not perfect but close enough for Me. I like to be fairly accurate with my builds, but am by no means a rivet counter That paint set is pretty sweet. I'll have to see if I can find it.

We are at the campground for the 3 day weekend so I won't be doing any work on the Dingo as it would involve to much stuff to bring, but I did have an idea of what I could do. There has been some talk about a dio for this. With this in mind I have come up with a build that I think I can do in a couple of days. A side trip if you will. Should have some pics up and more info in the morning

Tig, It's Revell's Gulf War Armor Sand. Not perfect but close enough for Me. Revell Gulf War Armor Sand? Thats new, is it? It's acrylic. Did a Sheridan with it in the summer of 2012. So that's a year. It's the only Revell paint I have. But I do like the way it sprays, it cleans up easy, and they have a good pallet of colors. I may be getting some more on the future.

O.K. Here's the side trip. If I build a dio, it would be good to have the Dingo towing something. I needed something that I could build over the week end at the campground with out bringing all My stuff. To that end, I came up with this. I'll be trying to do the waterwagon and maybe the kitchenwagon out of this kit. I know it's not German, but hey, water is water, and food is food If it doesn't work out, I can still use them with the Truck. Here's what we have...... And away we go

Tig, ah yes, Haste makes waste You don't have to worry about Me bein' hasty. It's not in my vocabulary I need to apologize, The paint is Testors ModelMasters acrylic, NOT Revell. Any way, here's the mornings work. Springs, axle, vacuum canister, tool boxes, and some kind of regulator in place Not a bad start, should be able to get it done in one more session

Water Tank-tastic fella - cool bit of toweage won't go amiss and the fact it's JSGDF is irrelevant - this is MSC after all That's pretty much what I thought Neems. A water tank is a water tank. I can always say they where involved in a Joint Action somewhere in the desert

Managed to come down with a ripping cold overnight. But I did get the waterwagon as much done as much as I could until I decide to use it or not. The fenders and wheels are blu tacked. Looks pretty cool to Me . Don't know how much I'll get done over the next few days, this cold is whipping my A%%
