The bad news...

The HVAC system finally got to the point where the only thing to download was to take her out to a field and put one behind her ear. The new system is free but the bullet cost 8k



The good news...

My plan is to sit at the bench for one solid day while they install the new system. And if you've notice the lack of M1A1 updates you gotta know this is gonna be the equivalent of the modelers little blue pill


There is even more good news.. .

I am upgrading from a 70% efficient system to a 96 % efficient. The wife doesn't know but I have earmarked the savings to be added to the modeling budget. Well.. . I am going to try to anyway.

Marc I had one of those new HVAC systems installed a few yrs back . It was a totlally new install as we didn't have anything but a ancient oil furnace and wood stove before . The only problem I had with any of it was due to the cable run from the outside unit . One of the installation guys nicked a wire with a cable clamp and that caused intermittent trouble . After them coming out 4 times and changing different components which didn't solve the trouble I found the problem myself . Some of that old telephone line trouble shooting being put to use . I should of billed them dopes !
