Ok, so my big awesome halftrack dio won't be finished in time for Armorcon. So I'm trying something quick and small instead. I watched World War Z unrated on Blu-Ray the other night, and if you never saw it, you should (I also saw it five times in the theaters. It's a long story.) Anyways I was hit with an idea... Just a quick pic for now, more to come tomorrow or Monday. -Conor

Thanks for the comments guys. I was curious to see what other people thought of it. I showed my dad, and he asked what political undertones I'm trying to imply... "Zombies are bad" is the best answer I could come up with hahaha I got a bit more done today than I thought I would. Probably because I forgot to do something, but that's irrelevant. Also, I started typing this an hour ago, so I made a bit more progress since this. A lot more rust n' stuff on the pipe to get all the colors to blend. I'm going for something urban, but not too too industrial. Maybe a bombed out warehouse or factory? Whatever your imagination wants it to be I suppose. Gave the base a thin wash as well, sort of brings the colors together a bit better. Like I said, the pipe is a lot different now than in that picture. I'm trying to make it so that the 3 ghouls are plowing through the fence, hence the piece that's sort of suspended mid-fall. The third ghoul will really convey that more if things go according to plan. Speaking of him... Panzertruppenghoul. The shiny black has been dulled down as well. I might leave the left eye as it is, seeing as it's a bit creepier. Just going to clean up around the top of it. His hair color is a bit too similar to the plastic he's molded in I think lol. I used a few different colors for the skin tones on his face. Actually, the splinter camo base color was used quite a bit, mixed with shadow tint, and German dark brown in and around the mouth. He's still got his (almost) pearly whites in there too Finally, the protagonist. The scream his face implies is more than perfect, given the nature of this little vignette. Right now two of three ghouls are basically finished, one just needs pants painted, and a lot more detail painting. My para has been done for a couple weeks now as well. What I'm struggling with is finding a way to bring the contrasting ground colors together. Any tips for that? I tried a wash this afternoon, and it didn't quite work like I had hoped. I think I might try this scene from WWZ in a few years... Too ambitious maybe? lol -Conor
