Did you know the Hellcat was faster than and could out manoeuvre the Japanese zeros and cost the zeros the most losses in the pacific theatre. Well it did ![](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj201/Robbo64/Hellcat/Hellcat1.jpg)

Yep, for a small light plane she p'd those zero pilots off. Gonna be fun to see this come together Ian. My fav colors for the Helland Wildcats are the two or three toned schemes...something about it.

LO didn't mean to do the other scheme Ian. Just that I like it better. But the overall sea blue looks cool too. It's still light enough to do pre and post shading and other weathering effects. Either way this is going to be very cool to see come together. I have yet to see the Eduard kit built up.

Now I've learnt how to turn the pressure down on the compressor and it's not broken I should be able to do a nice job on the pre shading Rob ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Sorry for the crap pic BTW. While I was out there I thought I'd do the exhaust, my first go at Alclad chrome failed bad so I saved the day with my can of chrome spray ![](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj201/Robbo64/Yamaha/yamaha042.jpg) Shiney innit?

Cheers mate, the Alclad went very dull, it looked like the engine, very flat. I put put it on a chaos black undercoat but it should have been shiney mate
