Well, fall is here and the start of the winter building season! This will be my first WIP here, so hopefull it will not dissapoint!. This is the Resin Magazin 1/72 T-50 Pak FA 5th generation air superiority fighter. This particular kit was one of the first released of this aicraft and I beleive it is no longer avaliable except from those speciality suppliers who have stock on hand. It is a pretty decent kit and hopefully will build up well. That cockpit in particular is very nice and the kit features full depth intakes and decent exhaust nozzles. Since this is not a mass produced injection kit, the first thing I wanted to do was clean up the major parts and see hpw everything fitted together to try and pick up on any potential problems before hand. Everything seems to fit pretty well so I moved ahead to fit the intake trunking into the fuselage. The trunks fit well, but did need some minor adjustment by sanding the edges to allow the fuselage pieces to fit together without creating a step. This was not difficult, just sand a bit, clamp everything together to check the fit, unclamp, sand a bit more, repeat. Once the trunks fit well, I clamped everything together and tacked the intakes into place with superrglue. When the glue cures I will unclamp everything and finish glue the trunks solidly where they are. The sides of the intake trunks also form the sides of the main landing gear wells. he intke trunks set into place, they are a nice friction fit into the fuselage, The fuselage and intakes are all clamped in place prior to tacking the trunks with superglue to hold them in the correct alighnment. That is about it for now, hopefully more soon.

Excellent, off to a flying start! The PAK-FA is a nice bit of gear, and I have always wanted to see this particular kit built up. Will be watching this with great interest!! Cheers, Sam
