I keep striving to improve my skills and sometimes what I post is my 2nd , 3rd or 4th attempt . That, ultimately, is why I think you're able to produce such outstanding results Carl. You take the time and multiple attempts where necessary to get the look you're after. It results in a quality finish that shows at every level and those tools are no exception.

Bill , very thoughtful comments and I deeply appreciate you taking the time to write them . This will be the last look at the interior . The Flak 18 will block the view when its mounted and that comes up next . Its been foggy and belowfreezing here for the last 10 days and today the fog lifted little . Sun ? Aint seen it in a while .

Carl once again you have blown me away with one of your builds and I'm sorry I haven't commented earlier.
It's a pleasure to watch you bring an otherwise dull piece of plastic to life, you differently have your own style with an eye for detail and realism which make your models so eye catching. Looks like another winner on your hands there Carl.
Plus... Is that a photo from your neck of the woods on the previous page ?. If so what a picturesque part of the world you live in mate.

So long interior, it was a pleasure looking at all that wonderful detail while the opportunity lasted...but you know in life they always have to make room for the big gun as a priority!

Greetings Carl, I've had some catching up to do here. Two beers worth actually. An outstanding build you have here. The cab interior certainly looks "cozy" Dave

No pics yet for an update but I figured I'd reply to the post before much more time slides by. Ski , not much snow this yr. for us is there ? Some wet weather would help them wells .Good looking country up there where you are . Phil , I got started on the Flak 18 yesterday . The detail looks good . Update on that soon . Boots , thanks mate .Good to have you here . Lui , that's ok , too many words is just blabbination anyway right ? Los , mucho appreciated mate . Sabre , I certainly am glad to read that you are enjoying this build . I've read that before about my style being different . It just seems to turn out that way . That pic. is the view out of my front window to the north . There used to be a railroad that ran thru that area. But like everything else in this little town its moved out , cept for me . Bill , its bout time to get to the "beef" of this build , as Tony would say . Dave , these days after two beers I'd be taking a nap for the rest of the day . you've got better capacity than I mate . Thanks for taking the time .

I never thought of it that way mushty . Doing the research and getting the advice does make the build interesting for me . On the other hand I'm not one for the scratch build skills that you have mate .

PS. did you get your carpet interface/ search project corrected/solved ? Think I interpretated that message on the previouse page correctly . If not then you are scratching your follicle deprived cranium also . Time will tell wont it .

Well, if you point the gun off to one side, perhaps one could see around it to the cab? First class detail/wear/weather work as usual
Regards, Mark

It's my fault....I gotta get the jackwagon-tionary into press soon....... "...I've suffered major mandibular/carpetry interface..." means my jaw hit the floor Dupes , not much of it . But the gun is easily removed when completed . Makes sense . Gawd that's a fright !
