I've been looking at this one for a while now . I couldn't justify the expense of it was why I put off getting it ...... $71 . But finally after I did some rationalizing (convinced myself life's to short ) and decided to go for it . I had looked at several reviews on the kit and they made the kit look like a promising venture . So yesterday (10-14) it arrived ! Here's a look at the box and its contents . There's a couple of nicely molded vinyl tires , a fret of p.e. an aluminum gun barrel , decals for markings and gauges on dash and gun mechanism , small chain , brass tubing for the recoil and recuperator cylinders and some thread for the under platform winch .There are 14 sprues . Four of which are for the track links . Painting guide . Gray , that's all ? . In 1939 the waffenamt placed an order for ten of these vehicle .They were to be used for anti tank vehicles and against fortified positions .These vehicles were used by Panzerjäger-Abteilung 8 during the invasion of Poland in 1939, the Battle of France in 1940 and Operation Barbarossa in 1941; the last three vehicles had been lost by March 1943. Ok then , now the intro is finished . Next I'll be building the tracks . Later friends .

Just before I was going to point it out I got sniped by Eddy! In the German magazine Modellfan pretty much the same was mentioned like in Eddy's build, so listen to the man Carl. Cheers, Tobi

This will be a fun one to watch the 'Carl Magic' get applied to. A big ol' bunker-buster halftrack, what's not to love?

Well , moving along at my usual pace I have some of the track assembly completed . 24 links ? Gawd that aint much. Specially since there are 56 per side . Assembly isn't bad at all . Clean up is minimal . The rubber pad part traps the pins of the next link so that the tracks are work able . Careful application of glue is important ........as usual ? Gawd these are going to be easy to wrap around the running gear . Compared to them Tamiya indi links I used on the Sturm this is a breeze .... .....those were a hurricane ! Ok gents here the tracks . Only 88 left to go .............pray for me .
